2016 is shaping up to be another record year for Mercedes-Benz in the UK with registrations currently 17% ahead of 2015 and a full year forecast of 170,000 registrations.

This level of increase is mostly due to the fantastic cars that we have in the Mercedes-Benz range which are market leaders in many of their segments.

As well as a great range of cars, we also need great partners to work with so that we deliver the highest level of customer service. We also require the appropriate levels of FCA compliance to ensure that every transaction completed provides the customer with a safe and secure financial product.

As a licenced credit broker we are required to ensure that our introducer partners are fully FCA authorised and compliant to work with us. We have asked for your assistance in completing your business details on the registration page of our portal. I would be very grateful if you can co-operate in completing this information the next time you log on to the system as it may affect your future access to the portal if we cannot confirm your FCA registration number.

An important area of compliance is communication of fees and commissions to customers. We would request that you do not increase the number of initial rentals on an agreement as a fee as we have been advised by our finance partner Mercedes-Benz Financial Services that this has implications should it be taken to the FOS. We understand that it is fair and reasonable that you receive an income from the placing of customer orders with us and it is not our position to try to influence this.
